VISIUM

VISIUM is a powerful 3D visualization and data analysis application designed for geophysical modeling and inversion workflows. This software is part of the ZAMINEX software suite developed by Geotexera Inc.

 

VISIUM provides comprehensive tools for:

 

Data Import & Model Management

- Loads common grid, point-cloud, surface, and volumetric data formats

- Tree-based model browser for organizing datasets and their derived results

- Colour any model by its data attributes, with automatic colour scales

 

Visualization

- Real-time 3D rendering with surface, wireframe, points, and surface-with-edges display modes

- Customizable colour maps, opacity, lighting/materials, and per-model styling

- Configurable colour scale bars (size, position, ticks) and axes grid

- Dual-view mode for side-by-side comparison

- On-screen text annotations with full rich-text formatting (fonts, colours, styles, alignment, bordered boxes)

Surface Remeshing

- Mesh simplification (quality-preserving and fast clustering methods)

- Uniform and adaptive remeshing to a target edge size

- Decimation by reduction percentage or distance

- Triangulation, hole filling, and vertex merging

 

Interactive Mesh Editing (Manipulate Elements)

- Delete triangles or points (with optional surface-preserving hole repair)

- Generate new triangles by picking vertices

- Fill Hole — manually or auto-detect holes and fill them, with quality options

- Move Point / Move Triangle — reposition elements numerically or by dragging, with adjustable soft-influence on surrounding cells

- Full undo/redo

 

Output
